BETWEEN FENCES
Princeton Public Library has been awarded the Between Fences exhibition beginning March 7, 2009.  The exhibit will incorporate the Museum on Main Street Exhibit through the Smithsonian and we will add our own local exhibit.

Museum on Main Street is a partnership project of the Smithsonian Institution, state humanities councils, and rural museums across America. Museum on Main Street brings Americans one-of-a-kind access to prestigious Smithsonian exhibitions and first-rate educational programs.
The Museum on Main Street circulates Smithsonian exhibits focusing on topics of national history. To date, these exhibits have inspired awareness of local history on a variety of subjects.

Our local project is planning many thing:  Tours, building a Fence at the Library, fence competitions, photo exhibition, mapping, local music, guest lectures, collections, walking, biking, poetry, book and film discussions, just to name a few of the possibilities@ the library!
